Description

The Uncharted Whisky company is an independent whisky bottler with a passion for single malts from off the beaten path. Operated exclusively by Jack Breslin and Dana de Vos from the quaint village of Fintry, Scotland. They love seeking out the weird, the wonderful and the extraordinary. This Auchroisk release, named 'Thunderstruck', is a single malt with a huge sherry cask influence, bottled young and un-chill filtered at cask strength.

Nose
An unashamed sherry bomb. Oloroso sherry leaps out of the glass chased by the cask strength tingle. Deep sticky toffee, Nutella, brown sugar, leather and cigar box.
Palate
Mature at first; new leather, Christmas pudding and vanilla ice cream. A touch of water brings the caramel and toffee chocolate box to life.
Finish
Long tingling spice, chocolate and cinnamon Danish pastries.
