- A balance of sweet and savoury, with green pear and barley sugars juxtaposed by vegetal oak and baked earth. Tropical floral hibiscus and plumeria, lemon, sponge cake, honey, roasted almonds, buttery pastries, a hint of salt and green tobacco leaf. Summer fruits and cream, rich soft spice hints of custard and apricots, honeydew melon and cut oak.
- Palate
- Buttery malt and toasted teacake, plus creamy vanilla, dry oak, and peppercorn. Medium-bodied and oily, lemon zest with drying pith, red ginger, cinnamon sugar pastry, hints of cola and crushed ginger toward the backend. Summer fruits, white grape and creamy caramel with soft spices starting to build, oily rich and mouth coating, stones fruits and almonds, some pineapple and a soft sponge cake.
- Finish
- A hint of lemon cheesecake. Long and lingering with candied citrus rind and ginger. Spices and tangy citrus underplay to deliver a rich smooth and softly spiced finish.
