Description

The Darkness! range offers a different take on many distillery's traditional styles, with each expression finished for over 3 months in specially commissioned octave casks from The Speyside Cooperage. Nose
Red peppers and stewed fruits with vanilla and oak spice. Chocolate and vanilla ice cream, dried fruit, a subtle hint of cinnamon and nutmeg.
Palate
Candied exotic fruits, pineapple and mango for heavy tropical noted alongside milk chocolate and subtle chili spice. The oaky spices build on the palate, paired with enjoyably bitter chocolate and some candied tropical fruit.
Finish
Long and moreish with faint spice lingering. New leather, mango, final spicy hints of cassia.
