Description

ABV: 56.2% Vol: 70cl Distillery: Aultmore Age: 25 years. This is a Chieftain's Single Cask bottling, distilled in 1991 and bottled in May 2016. It is non chillfiltered and of natural colour, and was matured in a Hogshead cask. Only 240 bottles were produced.

Creamy vanilla and American oak notes, with spicy, slightly grassy, and subtle licorice hints.
Palate
Sweet entry with sugar water and syrup, very fruity with red berries and a touch of hoppy bitterness. Notes of wood, nuts, fresh almonds, and a creamy, dusty, waxy texture. Sweet coffee and toffee with a herbal, lightly bitter undertone from oak.
Finish
Long, with fruity acidity and a light bitterness that lingers, leaving salty lips.
