Aultmore is one of the lesser known Speyside distilleries, but is affectionately known to locals as a "Nip of the Buckie Road." If this 21 year old is anything to go by maybe their reputation should be loftier, matured in its entirety in refill sherry hogshead casks and bottled at 46%

Rosemary, melon, ripe banana, mango, olive oil, porridge, toasted sourdough, smooth poached pears, nutty sweetness, crème caramel, raisins, orange blossom, honey, vanilla, dark amber honey, almonds, and caramel.
Finish
Spicy with aromatic baking spice, a peppery hit, long and elegant, dusty biscuits, milk chocolate, gentle wood spices, white pepper, and sweet oak.
