Nose
Sweet and savory aromas with dark chocolate, orange, raisins, leather, tobacco, walnuts, cinnamon, toffee, apple, banana, vanilla, and earthy oak. Hints of pipe smoke, boot polish, stewed plums, cherries, dates, and clove-studded oranges.
Palate
Velvety mouthfeel with orchard fruits, toffee, raisins, polished leather, cinnamon, ginger, lime, baked apples, caramel, vanilla, buttered bread, and grassy notes. Rich cocoa, dark chocolate, walnuts, floral notes (rose/Turkish delight), dry tannic notes, cedar wood, and roasted malted barley.
Finish
Long and warming with lingering hints of fruits, spice, oak, fudge, tobacco, pipe smoke, orange, cloves, and basil. Nutty leather, sea salt, grass, and sweet apple with light black pepper spice.
