Description
This Aultmore 15 Year Old is part of the Marsala Wine Cask Collection, a limited release from the Speyside distillery Aultmore. It was initially matured in American refill hogsheads and then refined for six months in Dry Marsala (Vergine Riserva Oro) casks, which previously held a high-quality, dry dessert wine from Sicily. This finishing process imparts a special depth and complexity, enhancing the whisky's signature grassy and herbal style with notes of baked apples, cloves, tangy quince, and dark chocolate. Bottled at 46% ABV, it is non-chill filtered and presented in its natural color.
