Description

This is an independent bottling of Aultmore Single Malt Scotch Whisky from Duncan Taylor's 'The Octave' series. Distilled in 2008 and matured for 13 years, it was bottled in 2021 at cask strength. Duncan Taylor is known for pioneering the use of smaller octave casks for maturation, which increases the interaction between wood and spirit, enhancing depth and complexity. Aultmore distillery, located in Speyside, is known for producing a substantial yet delicate spirit.
