Description
There's something quite special about a perfectly matured, Highland single malt whisky. About the essence of a vintage year, captured in a bottle. About feeling it. Feeling it. The first release of Balblair 2001, a stunning golden in appearance. The full-bodied nose exhibits aromas of fresh fruits such as oranges, apples and lemons. The American oak ex-bourbon casks used for maturation impart distinctive toffee and vanilla notes. On the palate it's sweet and spicy, fresh fruits dominate and combine with a creamy mouth feel. It finishes long and is a long lasting finish.
