Nose
Slightly peaty with hints of peat and smoke, vanilla, oak, spices, Balblair fruitiness, apple, cinnamon, hay, unripe pears, and lime zest. Also notes of freshly squeezed apple juice, subtle peat, cinnamon, and brown sugar. Creamy smooth malt with peppery peat smoke and vanilla bourbon notes.
Palate
Slightly peppery with light hints of peat and smoke, apple, pear, crushed black pepper, and a slight saltiness. Dry smoke with yellow fruit and spices. Initial sweetness gives way to peat, becoming savory with short-crust pastry, caramelized bananas, and Nasturtium leaf. Oily mouthfeel with spices and smoke intertwining with malty character.
Finish
Spiciness with red cinnamon and pepper, oak, apple, lemon, lime, and dry wood smoke. Herbaceous with mint and parsley, leading to menthol peat. Hints of bitumen and ash, melding into a fruity, gristy, meaty 'ball'. Spicy long finish with menthol fresh and tingly mouthfeel and subtle wood notes.
