Description

Ballantine's 30 Year Old is a rare and refined blended Scotch whisky, representing the highest age-stated expression in the Ballantine's core range. It is composed of some of the rarest single malt and grain whiskies in Scotland, aged for a minimum of 30 years in European oak casks, resulting in a deep golden hue and a complex, mellow, and intricate character. It offers a sophisticated drinking experience with a perfect balance of sweetness, spice, and oak influence.

Nose
Deep, soft, fruity aromas, elegant sweetness and vanilla oakiness. Rich and complex, with notes of honey, Christmas cake, caramel, toffee, dried oak, vanilla and sherry with faint hints of smoke.
Palate
Smooth and refined, showing a well-integrated blend of grain and malt whiskies. Notes of soft wood and understated sweetness emerge gradually, supported by a mellow texture. Complex balance of honey, floral and fruity flavours with notes of vanilla, fruitcake, oak, and butter. Velvety, almost creamy, with nuances of vanilla, dark chocolate, and a touch of citrus.
Finish
Long and clean, with lingering impressions of oak and a hint of spice. Long-lasting and elegant, with lingering sweet and spicy notes, and a subtle smokiness. Persistently warm, with an allure of toasted malt.
