This is a special edition Balvenie 2005 single cask, 9-year-old whisky, bottled at full cask strength in 2015 as part of Chapter One of Balvenie's DCS Compendium. The DCS Compendium is a series of 25 single cask bottlings released in five chapters between 2015-2019, celebrating the life's work of Malt Master David C. Stewart. This 2005 vintage edition came from a single refill American oak hogshead, yielding just 218 bottles. Chapter 1's theme is 'Distillery Style'.
