Description

The Balvenie 12 Year Old DoubleWood is a Speyside single malt Scotch whisky, celebrated for its distinctive two-cask maturation process. It is initially matured in traditional American oak ex-bourbon barrels before being transferred to European oak ex-Oloroso sherry casks for a finishing period. This 'wood finishing' process, pioneered by Malt Master David C. Stewart, imparts a harmonious balance of sweet, fruity, and spicy notes.
