Description

A single malt Scotch whisky from Balvenie, matured first in traditional whisky oak casks (refill American oak) and then finished in European oak sherry casks for an additional period, typically 9 months. This dual maturation process imparts a complex character with notes of honey, vanilla, and sherry. The Doublewood 12 Year Old was launched in 1993.
