Description

A highly-regarded malt distillery in Speyside and the second built by William Grant & Sons. The distillery is still owned by the company today its brand has been nurtured to become one of the most recognisable and sought-after single malts in the world. This 15-year-old single malt is finished in Madeira wine casks, imparting a lush, nuanced sweetness and complexity. Notes of honeyed fruit mingle with toasted oak and subtle spice, creating a whisky of remarkable depth and elegance.

Nutty with malty intense oak spice, bitter orange marmalade, ginger, pepper, stone fruit (peaches), cinnamon, dark fruits, black cherry, pastry icing, toasted oak, vanilla, light pepper, hazelnut, brown sugar, and caramel.
Finish
Medium long, slightly spicy, dusty, nutty, long and satisfying, harmonious, warm, with a lasting trace of fruity sweetness, subtle oak notes, sweet fruits, red apple, and cinnamon.
