This Balvenie single malt was released in 2010 and matured for 17 years. It was initially aged in traditional American oak ex-bourbon casks and then finished in casks that previously held heavily peated whisky. This process creates a complex and well-balanced whisky, combining Balvenie's signature honeyed sweetness and vanilla character with delicate smoky complexity.
