Description

The Balvenie 14 Year Old Peated Triple Cask is a single malt Scotch whisky from the Speyside region, aged for 14 years. It was originally released in June 2017 as a travel retail exclusive. This expression is the result of trials by Malt Master David C. Stewart MBE and Ian Millar, where the distillery dedicated one week each year to using peated barley. It is matured in a combination of first-fill bourbon, refill bourbon, and sherry casks, and bottled at 48.3% ABV. This non-chill filtered whisky offers a balance of traditional Balvenie honeyed richness with a gentle, earthy peat smoke.
