Description

The Balvenie 21 Year Old The Second Red Rose is a limited-edition single malt Scotch whisky, part of The Balvenie Stories range. Inspired by the 15th-century tale of Margaret Douglas and King James II, who received a single red rose as rent for Balvenie Castle, this expression is a successor to the original Balvenie Rose. It is matured for 21 years, initially in ex-bourbon barrels, and then finished in Australian Shiraz casks, imparting a distinctive blush and a vibrant, rounded depth of flavor.
