Description

The Tun 1401 batches were bottled between 2010 and 2013 before being replaced with Tun 1509 . For Batch No.2, seven traditional whisky casks and three sherry butts were combined and rested for several months. Nose
Rich and rounded with polished oak, honey, orange peel, pineapple, vanilla, almonds, raisins, and light spices. Sweet tropical fruits, coconut, marzipan, leather, dates, cinnamon, and rose petal jelly.
Palate
Velvety and spicy with ginger, white pepper, nutmeg, honey, apricot, and dark chocolate. Oaky and fruity with nectarine, acacia honey, custard, cocoa, walnut, and apple sauce.
Finish
Long with Seville oranges, chocolate, nutmeg, lingering honey, warming spices, and caramelised orange zest. Oaky with wood and a hint of salted butter and tobacco.
