Description

The Balvenie Tun 1509 Batch 2 is the second release in the Tun 1509 series, which replaced the popular Tun 1401. Malt Master David Stewart hand-selected 32 casks—including 23 American oak casks and 9 European oak Sherry casks—which were then married for several months in the large Tun 1509, housed in Warehouse 24, before being bottled. This limited edition single malt Scotch whisky was released in 2015 with an outturn of 8,500 bottles worldwide.
