Description

The Balvenie Tun 1509 Batch 7 is the seventh release in the highly collectible Tun 1509 series, crafted by Malt Master David C. Stewart MBE. This single malt Scotch whisky is a marriage of 21 hand-selected casks, including refill Bourbon barrels, refill Sherry butts, and refill Sherry hogsheads, with an average age exceeding 20 years. The whiskies were married for three months in the traditional marrying tun, Tun 1509, located in Warehouse 24, allowing their composite qualities to knit together. It is bottled at 52.4% ABV and is non-chill filtered.
