Banff Rarest of the Rare 26 Year Old, Bourbon Cask, Cask #2913, 1980, Duncan Taylor, 56.1%

Duncan Taylor & Company presides over the ownership of one of the largest privately-held collections of Scotch whisky casks. Though the company's origins lie in Glasgow as a whisky merchant and broker, its headquarters are in Huntly in the North East of Scotland. They have complete control of the entire production process, from cask selection and management, through "in-house" product and packaging. This particular release is a 26-year-old single malt from the closed Banff distillery, distilled in November 1980 and bottled in November 2006 as part of their 'Rarest of the Rare' series.
