Nose
Gleaming, metallic smoke, maritime smell of wet harbor walls and damp pier planks. Paprika powder rubbed onto BBQ'd chicken breast. Passion fruits, grapes, lemons, and a sweet and sugary undertone. Beautifully peaty and smoky, salty sea air, lemon notes, hints of savory spices.
Palate
Slices the tongue like a metal blade, piercing, fiery bite. Sweet, hot and smoky. Butter biscuits, green peppers, burnt raisins, cigarette puff, seafood, hard candy. Bittersweet with a very hot kick. Shortbread notes, heat, more citrus fruit. Smoke still present but lighter, spices blending.
Finish
Lasts long. Very sweet with liquid honey, vanilla milk, meringue chantilly. Light, sugary fruits. Medium-Long, gently warm. Smoke fades.
