Description

This is a special limited-edition release of Beinn Dubh single malt from the Speyside distillery, created to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the Thunder in the Glens, the UK's largest Harley-Davidson rally. It is a 20-year-old expression, bottled in 2016. The whisky is known for its unusually dark color, derived from maturation in heavily charred ruby port casks from the Douro Valley in Portugal. The distillery itself was converted from an historic barley mill and croft, and produces whisky using water from the Black Mountain (Ben Macdui) in the Cairngorms.
