From Ben Nevis Distillery, this limited release was distilled in April 2008 and aged for 10 years, before being bottled in September 2018 at a nice cask strength of 62.4%. Each bottle is individually numbered.

Nose
A mild nose-feel, rich and complex aroma with hints of fresh and dried fruit (bruised apple, glass, sultanas and figs, dates), an initial scent of fragrant aromatherapy oil on a base of planed hardwood. With water, a fragrant aroma of trace of gingerbread biscuits and some butterscotch in the development.
Palate
A smooth texture and a lightly sweet taste, drying rapidly to a spicy finish with a faint aftertaste of fondant. It benefits from reduction with water, but the aroma remains rich. With the addition of a trace of matchbox striker, and now the scent combines Sichuan pepper with powdered ginger.
Finish
A spicy finish with a faint aftertaste of fondant.
