Description
The Ben Nevis Coire Leis is a Highland Single Malt Scotch Whisky named after one of the distillery's main water sources, a lochan on Ben Nevis. It was launched in late 2021 as a no-age-statement expression, matured in first-fill bourbon and 'exclusive oak' casks. It offers a rich, creamy profile with notes of toffee, honeyed vanilla, fresh pears, apricots, and a smooth, woody finish. The distillery, established in 1825, is located at the foot of Ben Nevis, Britain's highest mountain.
