Nose
Deep savory nuttiness, funky saline, mushroomy, vinous husk, mouldy wine cave, dunnage warehouse, white peaches, parmesan cheese rind, Spanish vermouth with olives, soy sauce, slight wood smoke, boozy festive desserts, sulfurous rubberiness, lemon drops, strawberry and raspberry sweetness, stone fruit, apricot, peach, pineapple.
Palate
Sweeter than the nose, lightly oily, nutty with something slightly menthol, pronounced vinous quality, red berries, barley sugar, cinder toffee, burnt toast, very mature Gouda, smoky, mineral peat, savory flavors, palmer ham, dry cured pork, jute, straw, barnyard.
Finish
Oloroso-soaked chocolate lingers.
