Nose
Very clean, sharply defined, stewed dark fruits with gentle spices, and a hint of background smoke.
Palate
There is an immediate, head-rocking hit from a complex cocktail of flavours that includes dark fudge and dried berries. A pronounced real liquorice is also present, all set against more fragrant, unobtrusive smoke.
Finish
A short, smooth, gently warming finish; think butter sprinkled with smoked paprika.
