Description
One of the shortest-lived distilleries of the modern age, constructed within the Invergordon grain complex in 1965. A malt distillery, its purpose was the provision of fillings for blends however it was quickly deemed surplus to requirements and demolished after just 11 years in operation. This 37-year-old Highland single malt was distilled in 1965 and bottled in 2002. It is considered a 'Final Bottling' from the last casks of this short-lived distillery, with a story of a repossessed cask leading to its release.
