One of the shortest-lived distilleries of the modern age, constructed within the Invergordon grain complex in 1965. A malt distillery, its purpose was the provision of fillings for blends however it was quickly deemed surplus to requirements and demolished after just 11 years in operation

The medium-to-long finish is the clearest draw here: drying, with slightly waxy fruit and floral tea. The palate is delicate and austere at first, so this seems more restrained than lush.
The honey and floral tea sound inviting, while the dry leaves and herbal notes make this less straightforward than a sweet malt. The gentle start appeals to me, though the drying finish may take some getting used to.
