Description

The BenRiach 35 Year Old is a rare and exceptional single malt whisky, representing the pinnacle of Benriach's classic unpeated range. First introduced in 2014, this expression is non-chill filtered and of natural color, bottled at 42.5% ABV. It is aged for three and a half decades in a combination of former sherry and wine casks, as well as bourbon barrels, with stock sourced from the distillery's rich inventory dating back to the 1970s.

Luscious tropical fruit salad syrup with a delicate ripped mint and chocolate back note, warmed by a gentle toasted oak spice. Ripe tropical fruit, dark chocolate, and a touch of smoky intensity.
Palate
A classic Speyside style combining waves of papaya and dried apricots with freshly-sawn oak spices, touches of golden syrup and distant milk chocolate. Rich and velvety, with flavours of stewed plum, dark chocolate, toasted oak, almonds, overripe banana, grapefruit, cherry pie, dried fruits, vanilla, dark syrupy sherry, chocolate coated raisins, cream, mango, and peach.
Finish
Exceptionally long and complex, with lingering notes of dark chocolate, oak, spice, subtle sweetness, and hints of dried fruit, cigar smoke, and cedarwood.
