Description

The Benriach Malting Season First Edition is a Speyside single malt whisky celebrating traditional floor malting methods, a practice reinstated at the distillery in 2012. This inaugural release, distilled in 2012 and bottled in 2021, uses 100% floor-malted Concerto barley and is matured in a combination of ex-bourbon and virgin oak casks. It was bottled at 48.7% ABV, is non-chill filtered, and is a limited release of 6,672 bottles. [1, 2, 3, 4, 7, 8, 9, 14]
