Description
When Rupert Patrick decided to use his great-great grandfather's name, James Eadie in his new venture, he started by looking through old ledgers and tracking down forgotten blends. James Eadie was born near Gleneagles establishing his brewing and bottling business in 1854 and his whisky was known as "an ancient Scotch mixture that was dispensed to a favoured few". Reviving the old blend, Patrick started bottling single cask and small batch single malt whiskies. This Benrinnes 2009 15 Year Old is a single malt from the Speyside distillery, finished for 28 months in a first-fill Bual Madeira Hogshead.
