Founded in 1826, Benrinnes is a Speyside distillery known for producing rich, full-bodied whiskies. This particular expression is a 14 Year Old, distilled in 2006 and bottled in 2021 at 59% ABV. It was bottled by Elixir Distillers for Gleneagles from a single hogshead cask, with a limited outturn of 150 bottles. Benrinnes is known for its robust and muscular character, often used in blends, but highly prized by connoisseurs as a single malt. The distillery historically used a partial triple distillation method until 2007.
