Nose
Full-bodied aroma with dried fruits, caramel, toffee, cinnamon, nutmeg, green tea, vegetable oils, slight hay/grass, soft grains, putty/mineral notes, faint apple/melon, and slight Fino sherry notes.
Palate
An explosion of flavors with dark fruits, spices, oak, honey, dried apricots, toasted nuts, cantaloupe, melons, raisins, molasses, and a slightly musty funk. It is full, round, sweet, oily, with a pleasant feinty side, gunpowder green tea, aspirin tablets, herbal tea, quinine, lime peel, ginseng root, peppery, vegetal, and a sharpness akin to horseradish.
Finish
Long, delicate, complex, and warming with mixed spices, oak, slight smokiness, old tobacco, menthol/parsley, resin, clay, and a long-lasting white peppery run before dryness.
