The first thing I notice is a rather delicate, fragrant peat smoke, but also the earthiness of the peat itself. This is followed by sweet notes of candied lemon and Brioche. The whisky also has a strong "malty" side, with notes of sourdough and oatmeal. Mouth: Peaty and malty notes are fighting for control of the narrative here: Therese is the slightly burned bread crust, more dough and a touch of olive oil, but also earthy peat (this time without any smoke), together with old charcoal and a touch of soot.
