Gordon & MacPhail have experienced such success with Benromach since they took over the practically derelict distillery in 1993, that in 2016 nine new washbacks were installed, increasing the potential capacity of the distillery to seven hundred thousand litres per annum. While this might sound like small potatoes compared to some of the Speyside titans, it shows remarkable confidence in the rejuv ... This is a 10-year-old single malt whisky, distilled in June 2012 and bottled in August 2022, matured in a first-fill sherry hogshead. It was released as a Moray Exclusive, with only 298 bottles produced. Benromach is known for its lightly peated Speyside style.
