- Nose
- Sweet, burnt toffee, old leather, leaf mulch, polished mahogony and wet soil. Caramalised apple tarte-tatin with vanilla crème anglais, raisins and prunes, candied orange peels and crystalised ginger. Redbush tea, aromatic curry leaf, pencil shavings, espresso coffee, dark chocolate, oily rags and grassy farmyard aromas.
- Palate
- Sweet toffee and blackcurrant syrup, burnt honeycomb and deep, rich dark roast coffee. Fruity stewed red fruits, apple, peppery spice, bbq charred meats, salty smoked bacon, tobacco and garden rubbish fire smoke. Nutty and leafy.
- Finish
- Long and full bodied with soft smoke and sweet fruit. Grassy farmyard notes, creamy, toffee apple, metal polish, and a pinch of salt. Smoky and spicy with earthy peat, wood smoke, smouldering charcoal, black pepper, cloves, ginger, orange zest, chilli, charred bacon bits, and cocoa powder.
