This limited edition Big Peat The Vatertag #2 Edition Islay Blended Malt is a big, sooty, beachy, oceanic, and gloriously peaty selection of malts distilled only on Islay, the island from where the Douglas Laing family directors hail. Islay's distilleries are renowned for their peaty, smoky character, with each offering variations on the theme of peat. This blended malt is not chill filtered at high alcohol strength and is produced in Scotland, encapsulating the feisty spirit of Islay. This special bottling for Father's Day in Germany offers a big phenolic hit with burnt toast, medicinal peat, and spiced oak.
