Description

A single malt London whisky from Bimber Distillery, known for its 'farm-to-bottle' approach. This release was initially matured in first-fill American oak ex-bourbon casks before being finished in a 2016 vintage Oloroso sherry butt from González Byass. The distillery sources 100% of its barley from a single producer, uses traditional floor maltings, and employs slow fermentation techniques. This particular bottling was exclusively released for Selfridges.

Palate
Velvety in texture with pineapple cubes and sliced bananas served alongside plump raisins, sultanas and fig rolls. Vanilla cream is enlivened by piquant pepperiness, stem ginger and cinnamon sticks with a perfect balance throughout.
