Description
A limited edition bottling from Black Bottle, celebrating the 130th anniversary of the brand's creation. Black Bottle was originally created in 1879 by the Graham brothers. The blend originally drew its name from the black German glass bottles, which were changed to green after the outbreak of the First World War. This bottling was produced as the 130th Anniversary Edition in 2009. The brand was revitalised in 1990 by Burn Stewart Distillers with a new blend using Islay single malt whiskies, and in 2013, Distell acquired Burn Stewart Distillers. The blend features peated malts from Islay, balanced with other malt and grain whiskies from across Scotland.
