Nose
Matured wood, toasted malt, mild honey sweetness, delicate butterscotch bordering on cream, with floral nuances. Hints of caramel, honey, chocolate, dark raisins, smoke, burnt wood, subtle peat, orange peels, and almond-like nuttiness.
Palate
Smooth, fruity, and sweet with vanilla and caramel pulling through. Robust body, pronounced rich malt, oak, and sherry sweetness. Dark chocolate and coffee notes emerge mid-palate. Shards of wood laced with spice and tanginess of oranges, followed by dark grapes with a winey character.
Finish
Dry, sweet, pleasant, long, intense, and bright. Lingering honey, oak spice, and a touch of dried fruit sweetness with gentle smokiness.
