Black Snake Third Venom - Finland 100 years Suomi Sata, Sherry Cask, Vat No. 5, Blackadder International, 59.5%

Black Snake Single Malt Scotch Whisky is produced from a vatting of casks finished in a Single Sherry Butt. Each new release of Black Snake contains two-thirds of the previous release's whisky, with more added for further maturation, creating a continuous 'venom' of whisky. This particular release, Vat No.5 Third Venom, was created to celebrate Finland's 100th anniversary of independence. Blackadder International, the bottler, states that their whiskies are never coloured or chill-filtered, adhering to an 'Old School' approach.
