Nose
Rich and powerful with dark chocolate, caramel, butter, and earthy undertones of walnut and hazelnut. Also notes of cinnamon spice, ripened apples, dried orange peel, vanilla, creme brulee, maple-like woodiness, blackberry pie, toasted oak, lemon meringue pie, allspice, clove, anise, mint, and leather.
Palate
Full and mouth-coating with warm vanilla, oak, toasted nuts, and a rich spiciness, hints of butterscotch or honey, rye spice, dark chocolate, caramel, cinnamon, black cherry, vanilla wafer, dark red fruit, fig, pear, apricot, and a thick maple syrup-like mouthfeel.
Finish
Deep, resonant, and long with spice and charred oak persisting. Notes of tobacco, liquid brown sugar, raspberries, peaches and cream ice cream, cherries, leather, chocolate caramel, and espresso.
