Description

Booker's True Barrel Bourbon - Batch 2025-01E, also known as "Barry's Batch," is a powerful, uncut, and unfiltered Kentucky straight bourbon whiskey from the Jim Beam distillery. Named after Booker Noe, the distillery's sixth-generation master distiller, this small batch bourbon is bottled at cask strength. Casks are drawn from the center of the rackhouses, a noted sweet spot for temperature and humidity, ensuring a wholly unadulterated bourbon. This limited-edition release is matured for 7 years, 2 months, and 4 days in new American oak barrels.

Nose
Sweet vanilla, brown sugar, and buttery notes with hints of charred oak, caramel, and a slight fruit sweetness. Nutty scents of pecan and walnut emerge, accompanied by maple syrup and a boozy, almost Madeirized aroma.
Palate
A thick mouthfeel with immediate sweetness, featuring brown sugar, molasses, butterscotch, milk chocolate, and fresh figs. Notes of caramel, cherry, and vanilla are present, alongside baker's spice, cinnamon, and a fiery high-proof character.
Finish
Long and warming, with brown sugar, caramel, and creme brulee. Oak tannins, walnut, cinnamon, allspice, and a persistent nutty undertone provide balance, with a lingering spice and a hint of mint.
