Nose
Gentle aromas open with light iodine and medicinal peat, giving way to tobacco, leather and wax polish. There's also a note of toffee sweetness.
Palate
Sweet notes open on the palate, led by toffee and vanilla accompanied by a touch of treacle. The sweetness is followed by mouthcoating spicy sherry alongside notes of nutmeg and cinnamon, giving way to a sharp touch of stewed rhubarb. A whisper of smoke echoes in the background.
Finish
A medium length spicy finish, with lingering notes of sherry, clove, nutmeg and oak accompanied by subtle dry tobacco smoke.
