Rounded esters, fresh and coastal, with marzipan, oranges, and soft peat. Hints of dusty books, Ribena, old leather, sherry, and raisins.
Palate
A sherry bomb with dried fruits and wood smoke. Notes of almond butter, homemade marshmallows, salt, dried orange slices, and a touch of wormwood bitterness. Dry, heavy, smoky barley, and burnt toast.
Finish
Long, with peat ash, salty almond butter, and a light smokiness. Meatiness, like a buttery dinner biscuit soaked in seared steak juices.
