Description

This is a special limited edition Bowmore, bottled to celebrate the 1997 Blair Castle International Horse Trials which was held between the 24th and 27th August that year. The distillery produced these annually between 1996 and 2005. These were never available for purchase and were gifted to riders and the owners of competing horses. The oldest operational distillery on the isle of Islay, built in 1779. Today it is part of the Suntory Group, having been acquired by the Japanese company in 1994.
