Nose
Hints of metal polish and soot, combined with dried exotic fruits, tropical fruit teas, gentle, drying peat smoke, medicinal roots, honey, and waxy lemons. Aromatic tropical fruits like pink grapefruit and passion fruit blend with bold earthy peat smoke, coastal sea spray, and subtle medicinal menthol.
Palate
Superb and surprisingly peaty, with various exotic fruit notes, tending towards dried and crystallised ones, and exotic fruit tea impressions. Rich candy-like notes of sweet oranges and ripe peaches layered with traditional brown sugar, smooth milk chocolate, warm chimney soot, and gentle coastal brine.
Finish
Long, stunningly peaty, fresh, nervously coastal, showcasing many beautiful preserved exotic fruit notes. A complex and lingering end dominated by sweet malty characteristics, subtle spicy oak, drying citrus peel, and a final fading echo of rustic Islay smoke.
