Nose
Big wine notes, stewed plums and dates, nutty with a wisp of smoke. Earthy peat with a hint of savoury gunpowder and mango leather, Bowmore florals and pencil lead. Dark cherries, rich chocolate cake, peach candies, and lemon juice.
Palate
Jammy and woody. Blackberry jam on toast. A gentle smoke in with all the fruit. Sweet notes with ashier smoke, fruit builds with earthy peat and cracked black pepper. Peat is more forward with burnt hamburger bits, plum and fig profile.
Finish
Long and balanced with wood-fruit-smoke trinity. Earthy peat is the top note with pipe tobacco. Heavy smoke layer lingers with peat and a somewhat sharp grapefruit note.
